Job Title: Primary School SENCO Leader

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to lead the SEN department in a Primary School in Hackney, London. As a seasoned SENCO, you will provide strategic direction and day-to-day management of the SEN department, ensuring the school meets its statutory obligations regarding SEN provision.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the SEN department, coordinating with senior leadership to develop and implement SEN policies.
  • Identify and assess individual needs of students with SEN, developing personalised education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN interventions.
  • Provide training and support to teaching staff on SEN strategies and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' SEN and progress.
