Are you a passionate SENCO looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking an experienced SENCO to join our Lambeth-based SEN school, providing education for pupils who require tailored support due to exclusion, illness, or other reasons.

About the Role
  • Lead the development of SEND provision across the school, ensuring effective implementation of SEND policies.
  • Coordinate and manage EHCP processes from creation to annual reviews, guaranteeing individual needs are met and regularly monitored.

In this SENCO position, you will work closely with senior leaders, teachers, parents, and external agencies to deliver high-quality SEND support. Your expertise will ensure that all staff are trained in SEND practices and receive ongoing professional development as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), proven experience as a SENCO in a school setting, particularly working with children with SEMH and other special educational needs. A deep understanding of EHCP processes and ability to manage annual reviews are essential. You must have excellent organisational skills, a genuine passion for inclusive education, and a commitment to helping young people achieve their potential.
