We are seeking an IT Operations Technical Analyst to join our team at Bodycote, a leading provider of heat treatments and specialist thermal processing services. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for delivering IT support and troubleshooting for our facilities and end users in a predominantly Windows environment.
Key Responsibilities- Resolve incidents and requests in line with defined ITIL-based processes and agreed business service levels.
- Deliver IT support and troubleshooting for Bodycote facilities and end users.
- Monitor and manage Bodycote infrastructure in the field.
- Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective action to enhance Group IT Service Delivery.
- Engage in new and upcoming IT-related projects relating to upgrades and service improvement.
- Represent Group IT within the business and deliver world-class customer service.
- Collaborate with a global Bodycote Group IT presence supporting over 4,500 IT users in 180+ locations.
- Broad knowledge of Windows Server and Client operating systems with a strong technical background in Microsoft technologies.
- Familiarity with mobile operating systems (Android and iOS).
- Knowledge of backup technologies and data safeguarding practices.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, Switches).
- Working knowledge of ITIL-based processes.
- Flexible approach and excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel (plant travel required across 16 sites in the UK and occasional travel to Europe).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a customer-facing role supporting a complex Windows-based environment.
- ITIL Foundation Level certification.
- Experience with Microsoft cloud-based technologies such as Office 365 and Entra ID Administration.
- Knowledge of Asset Management and Mobile Device Management technologies, such as Intune.
- Pension - match contribution from 4% - 10%.

- An entitlement to full pay whilst off sick for a limited number of days (in addition to your statutory sick pay entitlement).
