Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Nursing Team in leading and managing the nursing team in the Accident and Emergency department.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the retention and recruitment of nursing staff, working closely with the Senior Nursing Team to identify training needs and develop solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered General Nurse qualification (RGN) and current NMC registration.
  • Significant experience of working in an Accident and Emergency department or other acute area.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
