About the Role
The James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Paediatric Nursing Team Lead to join our team. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and lead on governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Shift Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading clinical shifts in the paediatric Emergency Department and children's ward. This will involve delegating tasks to staff, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. In addition, you will contribute to staffing rotas, training, governance, and sickness management.

Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require a strong background in paediatric nursing, including experience in shift coordination, acute paediatric nursing, and paediatric nursing in both acute and community settings. A Registered Sick Children's Nurse (RSCN) or Registered Nurse (RN) qualification is essential, as is evidence of continued professional development. You will also need to demonstrate autonomy under pressure, flexibility in working patterns, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Salary and Benefits
This salaried position offers a competitive annual salary of £37,338 to £44,962 pro rata, reflecting the importance we place on attracting and retaining top talent.
