Job Title: SEN Teacher



We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs and mental health challenges.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Deliver high-quality lessons: Design and deliver engaging and tailored lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, promoting academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teams: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring students receive the best possible support.
  • Foster a nurturing environment: Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging students to thrive and reach their full potential.
  • Monitor progress: Regularly monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to inform future teaching strategies.


Requirements:




  • Qualified Teacher Status: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in teaching and learning.
  • SEN experience: Possess experience working with SEMH/SEN students in an educational setting, showcasing your ability to adapt to diverse needs.
  • SEN legislation: Demonstrate a strong understanding of SEN legislation and best practices, ensuring you can provide high-quality support to students.
  • Communication skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
  • Professional development: Be committed to ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and SEN practices.
