Location: Bristol
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a large SEN school in Bristol. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-to-one support to pupils with emotional and social needs, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated one-to-one support to pupils in class and outside the classroom
- Support pupils' academic progress and development, reporting to teachers and SENCOs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff members to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with behaviour management and social-emotional development
- Follow school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and health and safety
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with emotional and social needs
- Good understanding of the SEMH and Secondary curriculum
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work between 8:30am and 4:30pm, term-time only
