Job Title: General SEMH Teacher

Job Description:

A reputable SEMH/SEN school group is seeking a dedicated General SEMH Teacher to join their permanent staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a positive impact on the lives of students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized education plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in SEMH/SEN settings is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the social, emotional, and mental health challenges faced by students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
