We are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join our Velocity Sales team at Vanta Inc. in a remote work environment.

About the Role:
  • The Sales Account Manager will develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • They will maintain strong partnerships and alignment with Customer Success Managers to understand customer health, ensure close strategic collaboration, and execute harmonious communication to accounts.
  • The Account Manager will collaborate on account plans that identify new opportunities for expansion with current customers, increasing their usage of Vanta's platform through new frameworks, security tools, etc.
  • They will manage the entire sales cycle of any expansion or renewal opportunity from first meeting to close, negotiating where necessary and pulling in additional internal resources where appropriate.
  • The Account Manager will accurately forecast monthly expansion and churn, maintaining a clean Salesforce instance with strict pipeline hygiene.
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidates will have a BDR or SDR background with the ability to manage a high volume of accounts.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required, with additional languages desirable.
