We are seeking an accomplished Consultant to join our Emergency Medicine team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled clinician to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert medical advice, leading clinical teams, and developing policies to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist medical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Lead clinical teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among staff members
  • Develop and implement policies, protocols, and guidelines to enhance patient safety and quality of care
  • Contribute to the development of junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth and success
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, using data-driven insights to drive change and enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

  • MCEM or equivalent qualification
  • Fully registered with the General Medical Council
  • Experience in emergency medicine, preferably in a consultant role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
