Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Administrator to join our team at Austin Fraser. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our financial processes.

About the Role
  • This is a temporary contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
  • You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing financial transactions, managing records, and coordinating meetings and events. You will also provide administrative support to the finance team, including reception duties and operating equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process financial transactions, including purchase orders, invoices, payments, and supplier information.
  2. Maintain accurate records of financial documents.
  3. Coordinate the ordering, coding, and authorisation of goods and services purchased by individual schools.
  4. Monitor and prepare invoices for collection of fees and monies due.
  5. Assist in bank reconciliation and petty cash processes.
  6. Manage debtor and creditor accounts.
  7. Perform reception duties, including meeting and greeting visitors.
  8. Coordinate meetings and events.
  9. Operate relevant equipment and ICT packages.
Requirements
  • Experience in financial administration or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using finance systems, preferably with knowledge of PS Financials.
  • Strong organisational and data entry skills.
Benefits
  • $45,000 - $50,000 per annum.
