Job Description

As a Learning Assistant for Children with Autism, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting pupils in their educational and personal development
  • Implementing individualised learning plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to enhance lesson delivery and pupil engagement

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding of autism needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Grade C or above in GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent)

Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
