**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our Primary school in South Woodford. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to children with Autism, Learning Difficulties, and ADHD, promoting their academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Features:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term time only).

Responsibilities:

  • Support children with Autism, Learning Difficulties, and ADHD during class activities, promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs for students with SEN, working closely with teachers and other staff members.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to children, helping them to build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create engaging and inclusive lesson plans tailored to the needs of students with SEN.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of students with SEN, providing feedback to the teaching team.
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to discuss their child's progress and any specific needs.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge/experience working with children with Autism, Learning Difficulties, and ADHD.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting.

Salary Range:** £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
