Senior Art Therapist for Children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Art Therapist to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust, based in Hammersmith.
Estimated Salary£40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionAs a Senior Art Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering specialized art therapy sessions to children aged 5-18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, including Autism and ADHD. You will work collaboratively with our team to create individualized therapeutic art programs that support emotional healing, self-expression, and social development.
Key Responsibilities- Create and deliver art therapy sessions tailored to the needs of each child.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and other professionals involved in their care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to supporting children's emotional and behavioural development.
- Relevant qualifications in Art Therapy (HCPC registration required).
- Proven experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, and emotional/behavioural difficulties.
- Expertise in creating individualized art therapy programs that support emotional healing and self-expression.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build trust with students.
- A clear DBS check and legal right to work in the UK.
