About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our esteemed team as a Learning and Development Assistant, supporting pupils aged 0-11 with ASD/ASC on a 1:1 basis or in group settings. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering personalized support to promote learning development and care needs
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment
  • Engaging and motivating pupils through tailored activities
Competitive Salary Package

We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits, including Term Time only employment, free Team Teach training, and SEND Explorers Webinar access.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience in supporting children or young adults with ASD
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships
  • Able to remain calm and de-escalate challenging behavior
  • Valid DBS registration with the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
