Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Quality Support Officer to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Divisional Quality Governance team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and patient safety.

The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical audit, quality improvement, and incident management, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. They will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible and positive attitude to change.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Divisional Quality Governance team in the management of serious incidents and the resulting actions and shared learning across the division.
  • Assist in the handling, tracking, and monitoring of serious incidents being investigated.
  • Support patient engagement and experience initiatives, including the Friends and Family Test, complaints, and patient feedback.
  • Undertake clinical audit and provide support to services and the quality governance team to embed improvements identified through the audit process.
  • Work closely with clinicians and managers to promote, facilitate, and advise on quality improvement activity within all clinical areas.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant patient survey or research experience.
  • Experience of change management and putting ideas into practice.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Adept in the use of Microsoft Office software.
