About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Governance Support Officer to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Quality Governance team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care and ensuring patient safety.

The successful candidate will have experience in clinical audit, quality improvement, and incident management, as well as excellent administrative skills and the ability to work autonomously. You will be responsible for providing support to the Divisional Quality Governance team, including managing serious incidents, tracking and monitoring quality improvement projects, and ensuring that learning from incidents and complaints is shared and acted upon.

You will work closely with clinicians and managers to promote and facilitate quality improvement activity within all clinical areas, providing guidance and support with project planning, data analysis, and report preparation. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all actions arising from incident investigation, patient feedback, and complaints are completed within the division and that learning is shared across the division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Divisional Quality Governance team in managing serious incidents and tracking and monitoring quality improvement projects
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data analysis and report preparation

Requirements
  • Experience in clinical audit, quality improvement, and incident management
  • Excellent administrative skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work closely with clinicians and managers to promote and facilitate quality improvement activity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
