Regional Business Development Manager

Main Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets in the South Region.
- Actively seek out and engage with new business opportunities through networking, research, lead generation, F2F visits, and outbound calls.
- Proactively manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main contact for assigned strategic accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the account.
- Actively seek out opportunities to grow existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
- Individual Contribution:
- Operate as an individual contributor, effectively managing your own pipeline and priorities without direct team oversight.
- Ensure consistent follow-up and close deals efficiently.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a sales or business development role, ideally as an individual contributor in a hunter-style position.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, engage, and close new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of regional markets, customer behavior, and sales trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation Package
- A salary range of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Additional benefits include additional leave, canteen, company events, discounted or free food, free parking, paid volunteer time, and sick pay.
- A Monday-to-Friday schedule with holidays included.
