Business Development Opportunity:

The National Skills Agency invites applications for the position of Regional Development Officer. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion across various sectors, focusing on apprenticeship programs, funded training, and commercial training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pursue proactively new business leads and opportunities to drive regional growth and expansion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local partners, clients, and stakeholders to identify new business prospects.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of the competition and capitalize on emerging trends.
  • Travel to meet with potential clients and partners to explore new business opportunities and build trust.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of new business initiatives and effective communication with clients.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a business development or sales role is essential for this position.
  • Familiarity with new business development, lead generation, and relationship-building strategies is crucial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Knowledge of the further education and apprenticeship sector is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £48,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
