Creative Support Ltd is a national charity dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred support services in over 65 Local Authorities. We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our Regional Development Team as a Development Officer for Social Activities.

In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in delivering social activities and events that bring people together and promote inclusivity. With a focus on County Durham, South Tyneside, North Tyneside, Gateshead, and Newcastle, you will work closely with local communities to design and implement engaging activities that cater to diverse needs and interests.

Key responsibilities include coordinating the delivery of large-scale discos in Middlesbrough and Stockton, setting up a new disco in Darlington, and developing and delivering social activities for service users. You will also contribute to regional development initiatives, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to drive positive change in the North East region.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be adaptable and flexible, and demonstrate a commitment to person-centred support principles. A clean and valid driving license is essential, as you will be required to travel to services across the region.

A highly competitive salary of up to £24,375 per annum is offered for this position, reflecting the importance we place on finding the right candidate to lead our Regional Development Team.
