Job Title

We have a vacancy for a Registered Children Manager to lead and oversee the short break provision in Cumbria.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Brook Street as a senior manager to lead the children and young people's support teams in the implementation of all aspects of the short breaks service provision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Short Break Respite Service: Manage the short break respite service for children and young people aged 2-18.
  • Care and Support Planning: Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of children and young people.
  • Team Management: Liaise with and build effective relationships with the team, children and their families, and other stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: Proven experience of leading and managing teams within a similar setting for children and young people.
  • Knowledge: Sound knowledge and understanding of OFSTED legislation and practices, including inspections.
  • Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with children, families, and stakeholders.
