Become part of Brook Street UK's dynamic team as our new Children and Young People's Lead Manager. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the children and young people's support teams in the implementation of all aspects of the short breaks service provision (Residential and Non-Residential) in line with the Ofsted regulations and individual service specifications.

The successful candidate can expect an estimated annual salary of £57,500 - £62,000.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the operational management of the short break respite service for children and young people aged 2-18.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the service and co-coordinate the activities and plans for the day.
  • Develop and implement care and support plans.
  • Build strong relationships with the team, children, their families and other stakeholders.
  • Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Work in accordance with OFSTED regulations and practices.
  • Crisis management.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in leading and managing teams within a similar setting.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of OFSTED legislation and practices.
  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management qualification or equivalent.
  • Proactive and self-motivated individual with excellent leadership skills.
  • Positive and 'can-do' approach to work.
