Children's Residential Support Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at A Wilderness Way. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children in our residential setting.
Main Responsibilities
• Provide direct care and support to children in our residential setting
• Work collaboratively with the education, therapy, and outdoor teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children
• Mentor and support new team members to ensure a smooth transition into their roles
• Manage challenging behaviors and develop strategies to promote positive outcomes
Requirements
• Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent
• Experience working with children with challenging behaviors in a residential setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
