Behaviour Support Professional

A rewarding role has become available for a skilled and empathetic Behaviour Support Professional to join the team at a Secondary Alternative Provision school in Preston.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with SEMH needs, providing support and guidance to help them overcome their challenges and reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Pupil Support Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve behaviour, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
As a key member of the school community, you will be expected to maintain strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of working with challenging behaviour
- Level 2 Numeracy and Level 2 Literacy or GCSE equivalent qualifications
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure or subscription to the DBS Update Service
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
