Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our implementation team, you will play a pivotal role in our transformation journey, moving from multiple ERP platforms to a single SAP S/4HANA ERP system in all GKN Automotive plants.

Key Responsibilities
  1. SAP S/4HANA Implementation: Facilitate workshops to provide the overall Manufacturing Processes requirements that includes Production Planning, Shop floor control, Manufacturing Execution and Quality management requirements for the accurate solution design.
  2. Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize end-to-end Quality-Manufacturing processes, leveraging both SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing functionalities for maximum efficiency. Collaborate closely with Quality-Manufacturing-Engineering-Supply Chain stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into integrated SAP S/4HANA QM-Manufacturing solutions.
  3. Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Elicit, document, and manage business requirements. Ensure all the aspects of the business processes are mentioned in the documentation to enable the right solution design.
  4. SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing Integration: Lead efforts to integrate SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing solutions, ensuring data consistency and optimal end-to-end Quality-Manufacturing operations.
  5. Integration with other applications: Leads the requirements discussions required for the Integration with Engineering (Windchill), Manufacturing Execution System.
  6. Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing solutions through thorough testing and validation. Supporting the Testing process and communicating the defects/issues to the implementation team for the resolution.
  7. Training Support: Support the training material preparation, review, and approval. Act as a key point of contact for SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing inquiries, delivering timely support and resolution.
  8. Change Management: Support change management initiatives. Facilitate communication and training to ensure a smooth transition to new SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing solutions.
  9. Quality-Manufacturing Reporting and Analytics: Utilize SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing analytics tools to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and Quality Master Data, Materials Requirement planning, Production Execution and Quality Management.
  • Technical background and ability to translate the functional requirements to the technical requirements.
  • Ability to understand impact of issue on business and identify suitable solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills within the Quality-Manufacturing domain.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage Quality-Manufacturing stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision.
  • Experience of working in the Automotive Industry is a plus.
  • SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing certifications are a plus.
Education and Language Skills

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level

Good English language – both verbal and written
