SAP S/4HANA Quality Manufacturing Senior Business Analyst

Role Purpose: GKN Automotive is in search of a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) and Quality (QM) Business Analyst, specializing in Manufacturing - Quality processes. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in our transformation initiative, transitioning from multiple ERP platforms and interconnected systems to a unified SAP S/4HANA ERP system across all GKN Automotive facilities.

As a key decision-maker in process design within Manufacturing and Quality, you will ensure that business needs are fulfilled while aligning with the overarching goals of the program and adhering to SAP best practices. You will actively promote the standardization and simplification of processes throughout the GKN organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SAP S/4HANA Implementation: Conduct workshops to gather comprehensive Manufacturing Process requirements, including Production Planning, Shop Floor Control, Manufacturing Execution, and Quality Management needs for effective solution design.
  • Process Optimization: Evaluate and enhance end-to-end Quality-Manufacturing processes, utilizing SAP S/4HANA functionalities to achieve maximum efficiency. Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to understand their needs and translate them into cohesive SAP S/4HANA QM-Manufacturing solutions. Advocate for industry best practices among Manufacturing business stakeholders.
  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Collect, document, and manage business requirements, ensuring all facets of business processes are captured to facilitate accurate solution design.
  • SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing Integration: Spearhead efforts to integrate SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing solutions, guaranteeing data consistency and optimal end-to-end operations.
  • Integration with Other Applications: Lead discussions on requirements for integration with Engineering and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing solutions through comprehensive testing and validation, supporting the testing process and communicating defects/issues to the implementation team for resolution.
  • Training Support: Assist in the preparation, review, and approval of training materials. Serve as a primary contact for SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing inquiries, providing timely support and resolution.
  • Change Management: Support change management initiatives by facilitating communication and training to ensure a seamless transition to new SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing solutions.
  • Quality-Manufacturing Reporting and Analytics: Leverage SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing analytics tools to deliver insights and support decision-making processes.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Over 10 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and Quality Master Data, Materials Requirement Planning, Production Execution, and Quality Management.
  • A technical background with the ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • The capability to assess the impact of issues on business operations and identify appropriate solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within the Quality-Manufacturing domain.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Quality-Manufacturing stakeholders.
  • The ability to influence others and drive towards a common vision.
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry is advantageous.
  • SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing certifications are a plus.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level

Language Skills: Proficient in English, both verbal and written
