Job Purpose

Transformation Journey: SAP S/4HANA Implementation

GKN Automotive is actively seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) and Quality (QM) Business Analyst with expertise in Manufacturing - Quality processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our transformation journey, moving from multiple ERP platforms and connected systems to a single SAP S/4HANA ERP system in all GKN Automotive plants.

Key Responsibilities
  1. SAP S/4HANA Implementation: Facilitate workshops to provide the overall Manufacturing Processes requirements that include Production Planning, Shop floor control, Manufacturing Execution, and Quality management requirements for the accurate solution design.
  2. Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize end-to-end Quality-Manufacturing processes, leveraging both SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing functionalities for maximum efficiency. Collaborate closely with Quality-Manufacturing-Engineering-Supply Chain stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into integrated SAP S/4HANA QM-Manufacturing solutions. Advise Manufacturing business stakeholders and actively promote industry best practices.
  3. Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Elicit, document, and manage business requirements. Ensure all aspects of the business processes are mentioned in the documentation to enable the right solution design.
  4. SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing Integration: Lead efforts to integrate SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing solutions, ensuring data consistency and optimal end-to-end Quality-Manufacturing operations.
  5. Integration with other applications: Leads the requirements discussions required for the Integration with Engineering (Windchill), Manufacturing Execution System.
  6. Testing and Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and integrity of SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing solutions through thorough testing and validation. Supporting the Testing process and communicating the defects/issues to the implementation team for the resolution.
  7. Training Support: Support the training material preparation, review, and approval. Act as a key point of contact for SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing inquiries, delivering timely support and resolution.
  8. Change Management: Support change management initiatives. Facilitate communication and training to ensure a smooth transition to new SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing solutions.
  9. Quality-Manufacturing Reporting and Analytics: Utilize SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing analytics tools to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
Requirements
  1. 10+ years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing and Quality Master Data, Materials Requirement planning, Production Execution, and Quality Management.
  2. Technical background and ability to translate functional requirements to technical requirements.
  3. Ability to understand the impact of issues on business and identify suitable solutions.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills within the Quality-Manufacturing domain.
  5. Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage Quality-Manufacturing stakeholders.
  6. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision.
  7. Experience of working in the Automotive Industry is a plus.
  8. SAP S/4HANA Quality-Manufacturing certifications are a plus.
Education and Language Skills

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level

Good English language - both verbal and written
