SAP S/4HANA Procurement Solutions Analyst

Role Purpose: GKN Automotive is on the lookout for a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Business Analyst specializing in Procurement processes. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in our transformation journey as we transition from multiple ERP platforms and interconnected systems to a unified SAP S/4HANA ERP system across all GKN Automotive facilities.

As a key decision-maker in the design of Procurement processes, you will ensure that business needs are fulfilled while aligning with the overarching goals of the program and adhering to SAP best practices. You will actively promote the standardization and simplification of processes throughout the GKN organization.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA Implementation: Lead workshops to outline the comprehensive Procurement Processes requirements, which encompass Sourcing and Operational Procurement, Material Requirements Planning, Central Procurement, Service Procurement, Invoice Management, Subcontracting process requirements, and Spend analytics for precise solution design. Process Optimization: Assess and enhance end-to-end procurement processes, utilizing SAP S/4HANA functionalities for optimal efficiency. Collaborate closely with procurement stakeholders to grasp their needs and translate them into an integrated SAP S/4HANA solution. Provide guidance to Procurement business stakeholders and actively advocate for industry best practices. Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Elicit, document, and manage business requirements. Ensure that all facets of the business processes are captured in the documentation to facilitate the appropriate solution design. SAP S/4HANA and GKN Procurement (iValua) Integration: Spearhead initiatives to seamlessly integrate SAP S/4HANA and iValua solutions, ensuring data consistency and optimal end-to-end procurement operations. Testing and Quality Assurance: Guarantee the quality and integrity of procurement-related SAP S/4HANA solutions through comprehensive testing and validation. Support the testing process and communicate any defects or issues to the implementation team for resolution. Training Support: Assist in the preparation, review, and approval of training materials. Serve as a primary contact for procurement-related SAP S/4HANA inquiries, providing timely support and resolutions. Change Management: Aid in change management initiatives. Facilitate communication and training to ensure a seamless transition to the new procurement-related SAP S/4HANA solution. Procurement Reporting and Analytics: Leverage SAP S/4HANA procurement analytics tools to deliver insights and support decision-making processes. Digital Strategy/Transformational Projects Execution: Implement and deliver components of the digital roadmap, employing agile and design-thinking principles to drive sustainable implementation.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

Over 10 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on SAP S/4HANA procurement modules. A technical background with the ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications. A strong understanding of the impact of issues on business and the capability to identify suitable solutions. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills within the procurement domain. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage procurement stakeholders. The ability to influence others and drive towards a common vision or goal. SAP S/4HANA certifications in Procurement are advantageous.

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level

Language Skills: Proficient in English – both verbal and written
