Role Overview: GKN Automotive is on the lookout for a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Business Analyst specializing in Procurement processes. The selected individual will be instrumental in our transformation initiative, transitioning from various ERP platforms and interconnected systems to a unified SAP S/4HANA ERP framework across all GKN Automotive facilities.
This role is crucial as a key decision-maker in shaping process designs within Procurement. The analyst will ensure that business needs are fulfilled while aligning with the overarching goals of the program and adhering to SAP best practices. The position actively promotes the standardization and simplification of processes throughout the GKN organization.
Key Responsibilities
SAP S/4HANA Implementation: Conduct workshops to outline the comprehensive Procurement Processes requirements, including Sourcing, Operational Procurement, Material Requirements Planning, Central Procurement, Service Procurement, Invoice Management, Subcontracting process needs, and Spend analytics for precise solution design. Process Enhancement: Evaluate and refine end-to-end procurement processes, utilizing SAP S/4HANA functionalities for optimal efficiency. Collaborate closely with procurement stakeholders to grasp their needs and translate them into an integrated SAP S/4HANA solution. Advise procurement business stakeholders and advocate for industry best practices. Requirements Collection and Documentation: Gather, document, and manage business requirements. Ensure all facets of the business processes are captured in the documentation to facilitate the correct solution design. SAP S/4HANA and GKN Procurement (iValua) Integration: Spearhead initiatives to seamlessly integrate SAP S/4HANA with the iValua solution, ensuring data consistency and optimal end-to-end procurement operations. Testing and Quality Assurance: Guarantee the quality and integrity of procurement-related SAP S/4HANA solutions through comprehensive testing and validation. Support the testing process and communicate defects/issues to the implementation team for resolution. Training Support: Assist in the preparation, review, and approval of training materials. Serve as a primary contact for procurement-related SAP S/4HANA inquiries, providing timely support and resolution. Change Management: Facilitate change management initiatives. Support communication and training efforts to ensure a smooth transition to the new procurement-related SAP S/4HANA solution. Procurement Reporting and Analytics: Leverage SAP S/4HANA procurement analytics tools to deliver insights and support decision-making processes. Digital Strategy/Transformational Projects Execution: Implement and deliver components of the digital roadmap, employing agile and design-thinking principles to drive sustainable implementation.To excel in this role, you will possess:
Over 10 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on SAP S/4HANA procurement modules. A technical background with the ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications. A keen understanding of the impact of issues on business and the capability to identify suitable solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within the procurement domain. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a talent for engaging procurement stakeholders. The capacity to influence others and work towards a shared vision or goal. SAP S/4HANA certifications in Procurement are advantageous.Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
Language Skills: Proficient in English – both verbal and written
