About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for children and young people with mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and carers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Experience of working with children and young people with mental health needs.
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent mental health theories and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
