Job Title: Refugee Resettlement Coordinator

Estimated Salary: £20.98 per hour (based on a 37-hour working week)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Refugee Resettlement Coordinator to join our team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support services to refugees, asylum seekers, and displaced individuals, including assessment of their needs, development of individual support plans, and coordination of initiatives to benefit their lives.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in frontline support work, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by customers. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team and with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • To act as the primary point of contact between clients and statutory services, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of support.
  • To assess client needs and develop targeted support plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes and empowering clients to live independently.
  • To provide practical support to address specific problems, such as tenancy sustainment and housing-related issues.
  • To develop positive relationships with local statutory, voluntary, and community organisations, enabling clients to access necessary resources and services.
