About the Role:

This Refugee Resettlement Officer position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of refugees, asylum seekers, and displaced individuals in Cambridge.

Working as part of our resettlement scheme, you will provide essential support and guidance to clients, helping them navigate the challenges of settling into a new life.

This is a temporary 3-month contract with the possibility of extension, paying an estimated £21,000 per annum (£20.98 hourly rate) based on 37 hours per week. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 17:00.

Key responsibilities include assessing client needs, developing personalized support plans, and working collaboratively with local organizations to ensure comprehensive support.

To succeed in this role, you will need at least 2 years of frontline experience supporting individuals or families, as well as knowledge of local statutory, voluntary, and community organizations.

A relevant degree in social care, health, education, housing, or youth work would be beneficial, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
