Role Overview:

The Refugee Resettlement Officer will play a vital role in supporting refugees, asylum seekers, and displaced individuals in Cambridge, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to integrate into their new community.

With a focus on empowering clients to live independently, you will assess their needs, develop personalized support plans, and collaborate with local organizations to provide comprehensive support.

This is a temporary 3-month contract with the possibility of extension, offering a competitive hourly rate of £20.98 (PAYE). You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 08:45 to 17:00.

Key responsibilities include recognizing and responding to safeguarding and domestic abuse cases, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to data security protocols.

To succeed in this role, you will need at least 2 years of frontline experience supporting individuals or families, as well as knowledge of local statutory, voluntary, and community organizations.

A relevant degree in social care, health, education, housing, or youth work would be beneficial, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
