About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized individual to join our team as a Firearms Licensing Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the firearms licensing team, ensuring that all firearms licensing applications are processed efficiently and effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage firearms licensing applications, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to applicants, responding to queries and providing guidance on the application process.
  • Work closely with the supervisory team to identify and address any concerns or issues with applications.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of firearms legislation and procedures, ensuring that all applications are processed in accordance with current regulations.
  • Manage and process payments for firearms licenses.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute high volumes of mail and email.

Requirements:

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably in a law enforcement or regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Good knowledge of firearms legislation and procedures.
