Job Summary:

The Firearms Licensing Administrator will provide administrative support to the firearms licensing team, ensuring that all firearms licensing applications are processed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process firearms licensing applications, flagging any concerns or suspicions of potentially criminal activity to the supervisors.
  • Maintain awareness and update knowledge in the area of Firearms Legislation and changing processes and procedures.
  • Provide customer-focused point of contact for telephone enquiries to the team, providing advice and guidance to callers on all aspects of firearms licensing.
  • Manage and process payments for certificates.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute high volumes of mail and email.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the firearms licensing team and contribute to the administration of firearms licensing applications. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and administrative skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
