Marketing Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager to join our team in London as part of our Marketing function.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the go-to-market strategy for the Cannes Lions Awards, focusing on new business lead acquisition and customer retention with detailed marketing planning and reporting.

You'll work closely with internal Awards, Judging and Content teams to drive new business generation and customer retention across target markets, personas and company types, ensuring seamless integration between Awards and Marketing activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Crafting and executing a year-round marketing plan for our Awards at LIONS, leading marketing strategy & planning, with influence on entry volumes and brand KPIs.
  • Developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns; marketing experience in the Awards space a bonus.
  • Partnering with the Awards team to deliver impactful customer experience and roll out customer-led Awards activities.
  • Leveraging the global network of Representatives to optimise success, strategising, creating and sharing assets with our global network.
  • Collaborating with Creative, Press and Digital Marketing teams, writing detailed briefs that enable the delivery of a world-class marketing campaign.
  • Reporting regularly on campaign activity to all levels of stakeholder across the business, working closely with the Digital Marketing team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with multiple teams across the LIONS Brand, creating, executing and reporting on a number of marketing initiatives throughout the year to attract and retain Award entries across our four key product lines at LIONS: the Cannes Lions Awards, Eurobest, Spikes Asia & Dubai Lynx.

Your Experience

  • Strong experience in marketing, ideally working on or close to an event.
  • Evidence of a deep understanding of marketing strategy and delivery of marketing planning.
  • Experience of developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns; marketing experience in the Awards space a bonus.
  • Experienced briefing internal creative teams or agencies.
  • Expert communication skills with the ability to set clear channels of communication and manage expectations across multiple teams.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is £65,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a benefits package including 25 days holiday per year, pension, life assurance and income protection, flexible benefits platform with options including private medical, dental insurance, critical illness and the Ascential Shares Scheme.
