Deputy Boutique Manager, Harrods

The Deputy Boutique Manager is a key role within our luxury retail team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our boutique. This includes managing the boutique team, maintaining high standards of client service, and driving sales performance.
Key Responsibilities- Co-monitor sales targets and KPIs, and implement annual action plans to achieve business objectives.
- Provide regular reporting to the Area Manager, including sales, traffic, and KPI data, and propose corrective actions to improve performance.
- Run analytical reports to identify areas for improvement and optimize boutique operations.
- Update boutique notice boards to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Manage the boutique team, including daily control of security guards, and participate in daily briefings.
- Co-evaluate sales staff through the annual MPJ process, and set objectives and KPIs to drive sales performance.
- Delegate operational activities and establish clear responsibilities within the team.
- Co-animate commercial actions, such as challenges and incentives, to drive sales and engagement.
- Transmit and control relevant documents, such as invoices and third-party commissions, to the Area Manager for calculation of individual monthly commissions and incentives.
- Assist the Area Manager in providing training to the team and help with staff coaching to ensure they have the necessary skills to reach their targets.
- Ensure the boutique is properly maintained, including lights, furniture, and stockroom and back office areas.
- Implement guidelines defined by the Area Manager and the Brand to ensure full compliance with sales, financial, and security procedures.
- Analyze qualitative evaluation feedback with the Area Manager and set up corrective action plans to improve performance.
- Co-organize CRM activities within the boutiques as per guidelines.
- Control the quality of the data base per sales staff.
- Make sure daily traffic is correctly counted on a daily basis.
- Responsible for replenishing stock according to Piaget procedures and policies.
- Maintain effective stock controls to ensure continued stock supply and good management of the stock.
- Take responsibility of designated stock/category, maintain the high standards, and report any damages.
- Control the quality of the stock and make sure all pieces are handled with extra care and in perfect selling conditions.
- Ensure deliveries are processed swiftly and that the boutique's entire product assortment is made immediately available and easily accessible to clients on a consistent basis.
- Lead daily and annual stock inventories.
- Manage In and Out stock transfers and follow-up.
- Responsible for the after-sale procedure and accomplishment of the boutique.
- Organize safe and maintain a clean and neat stockroom and back office area.
- Replenish of all carrier bags, placing orders, and communicating them to management.
- Maintain both cashiers' desk replenished of all necessary stationary and keeping the cash desks clean and tidy at all times.
- Communicate any stock issues to management team in boutique and Head Office.
- Communicate to the sales team the delivery schedules.
- Prior management experience and background in luxury activities (retail or service) is required.
- Computer knowledge in Microsoft; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Shows innovation and initiative, be proactive and pre-empt boutique and team issues.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Successfully able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities in a multinational business.
- Ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Excellent Presentation.
