Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR policies aligned with statutory requirements and best practices.
  • Provide expert advice on HR matters and compliance, ensuring all staff understand their roles and performance standards.
  • Support the management of pay and reward strategies, promoting consistency across the organisation.
  • Build effective relationships with unions and report on HR matters as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws and manage Freedom of Information requests.
  • Maintain and manage the HR Information System (HRIS) and line manage assigned staff.
Requirements:
  • CIPD Fully Qualified
  • Significant experience in HR and compliance, ideally within an educational setting / public sector.
  • Experience of using and managing an HRIS.
  • Ideal experience of implementing public sector pay awards.
  • Knowledge of current HR legislation and best practices.
  • Strong IT skills across Microsoft and Google products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
