ER Advisor Job Description

Our client, a leading global business in the Aviation, Transport & Distribution industry, is seeking a skilled ER Advisor to join their Human Resources team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a variety of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on ER matters to managers and employees
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Ensure all ER activities are compliant with employment law and regulations
  • Liaise with Trade Unions and manage TU relationships
  • Analyze key data to use trends across absence, sickness, and retention in strategic decision making
  • Collaborate with the wider HR business partnering team on projects and initiatives
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in ER with evidence of managing your own case load (circa 20)
  • Trade Union experience is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail
