As an ER Specialist, you will be responsible for managing employee relations cases, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees, and developing strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance and absence
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on ER matters to managers and employees
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Ensure all ER activities are compliant with employment law and regulations
  • Liaise with Trade Unions and manage TU relationships
  • Analyse key data to use trends across absence, sickness and retention in strategic decision making
  • Collaborate with the wider HR business partnering team on projects and initiatives

Requirements

  • Previous experience in ER with evidence of managing your own case load (Circa 20)
  • Trade Union experience is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Analytical with strong attention to detail
