About the Role

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our growing civils team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be involved in the design and construction of infrastructure projects, working alongside colleagues to deliver highways and infrastructure projects for a diverse range of clients and sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use the latest design software to create and manage designs, ensuring projects are appropriately resourced and delegated to team members.
  • Liaise with key clients and discuss design/technical solutions with team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress and ensure projects are completed to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Demonstrable record of involvement in the design of highways and infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment.
  • Use of industry design standards, i.e. DMRB; Manual for Streets; NJUG, SSG etc.
  • Problem solver, able to offer solutions to challenges.
  • Able to work and collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Confident, articulate, collaborative & proactive.
  • Eagerness to learn and to develop your skills and career with training support.
  • Good time management and organisational skills to efficiently manage workload.
  • A good knowledge of the CDM regulations in addition to British standards and EU regulations.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel across the UK to visit sites and other offices.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK and be able to demonstrate proof when requested.
