Civil Engineer

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for working on a variety of infrastructure projects, from initial scheme concept to detailed design and construction stages.
As part of our civils team, you will be involved in delivering highways and infrastructure projects for a diverse range of clients and sectors. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career working as part of a team of innovative engineers and specialists.
Key Responsibilities- Use the latest design software to create and manage designs.
- Liaise with key clients and discuss design/technical solutions with team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are appropriately resourced, delegating work to team members, programming deliverables, and monitoring progress.
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Demonstrable record of involvement in the design of highways and infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment.
- Use of industry design standards, i.e., DMRB; Manual for Streets; NJUG SSG, etc.
- Problem solver able to offer solutions to challenges.
- Able to work and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Confident, articulate, collaborative, and proactive.
- Eagerness to learn and to develop your skills and career with training support.
- Good time management and organizational skills to efficiently manage workload.
- A good knowledge of the CDM regulations in addition to British standards and EU regulations.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel across the UK to visit sites and other JMS offices.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK and be able to demonstrate proof when requested.
