About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Civil Engineer to join our team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a key member of our civils team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of infrastructure projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of civil engineers, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and delivering solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Design and Delivery: Work closely with clients and stakeholders to develop and deliver infrastructure designs that meet their needs, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and effective.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues across the company to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with Chartered Engineer status (CEng) and a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in civil engineering.
  • Skills and Experience: Proven track record of involvement in the design of highways and infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of industry design standards, cost estimation, and project management.
  • Personal Qualities: Confident, articulate, collaborative, and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and develop your skills and career with training support.
