About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer Associate Director to join our team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a key member of our civils team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of infrastructure projects across the Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of civil engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and manage designs using the latest software and technologies
  • Ensure projects are properly resourced, delegating tasks and monitoring progress
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff, promoting their development and growth
  • Implement company policies and procedures, ensuring adherence across the team
  • Monitor and manage project budgets and resources
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers, promoting our services and achieving targeted revenue growth
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in civil engineering
  • Demonstrable record of involvement in the design of highways and infrastructure projects
  • Proven track record of cost estimation and project management
  • Understanding of design tools within a BIM environment
  • Knowledge of industry design standards, including Manual for Streets
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to offer creative solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
