Conference and Events Sales Coordinator

About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Groups, Conference and Events Sales office to actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales. This includes contributing to the selling strategy of the hotel and managing the department's adherence to achieving that strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the Groups, Conference and Events Sales office to achieve sales targets.
- Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel and manage the department's adherence to achieving that strategy.
- Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market.
- Generate a culture of high standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts.
- Manage and develop the team to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within the hotel and company.
- Organise hotel promotional activities.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Achieve sales targets.
- Increase revenue growth.
- Improve customer satisfaction ratings.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of the hospitality industry and sales strategies.
