Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Assistant to join our Commercial Team.

The successful candidate will work closely with category teams to ensure procurement processes are managed effectively, supporting the delivery of end-to-end procurement processes for our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement process, working to achieve specific procurement goals and following established procurement systems and protocols.
  • Conduct research using primary data sources, gathering and reporting on information on existing contract performance and providing input to the new contract process.
  • Carry out simple contract management tasks, extracting relevant data from information provided by others and inputting it into spreadsheets or standard formats.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures, as well as regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.
  • Provide a quality service to customers, identifying opportunities to secure new business or support retention.
