Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Bird Bellows. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our procurement and inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies
• Expedites purchase orders on a regular basis and updates the ERP system accordingly
• Supports delivery schedules management with suppliers
• Communicates and escalates any issues arising from the purchase of services, supplies, and equipment
• Assists in the evaluation of reports to define the need for purchased products and creates associated purchase orders
• Develops an understanding of each supplier's capabilities and current capacity

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience working in a similar or adjacent type role
• Demonstrated understanding of customer demand signal interpretation and escalation risk points
• Demonstrated experience of production scheduling
• Demonstrated experience of Purchase Order Planning/Processing and Expediting to ensure continuity of component/service supply to meet company schedules
• Demonstrated experience of completing tasks requiring multi-stakeholder inputs
• Demonstrated experience of supplier performance metrics and evaluation

Desirable Qualifications:

• Customer Service qualification – NVQ or similar
• Procurement qualification – CIPs or similar
