">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing towards the delivery of our Procurement Cost Reduction Strategy, operational development of the commercial procurement strategy, and undertaking wider commercial and procurement activities.
This includes the development of novel framework agreements to generate income and support the Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) engagement agenda. You will also support the Director of Commercial Procurement in providing external Procurement and Supply Chain Management services to client organisations.
You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels, co-ordinating the production of documentation and managing complex projects. Key skills required include negotiation skills, autonomy, understanding of the current health economy, and knowledge of procurement principles acquired through MCIPS accreditation or relevant degrees/experience.
We offer a competitive salary of £52,056 - £60,757 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including access to our DBS Update Service. New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
