About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Nurse Specialist to join our team in North Surrey. As a Mental Health Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status.
  • Administer medications and monitor their effects on patients.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions such as counseling and behavioral therapies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting mental wellness and recovery.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid registration with the NMC.
  • Proven experience within a community recovery role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Past experience in CMHT.
  • 2 year ADHD experience
  • ADHD Assessment
  • 1 year experience as a Non Medical Prescriber
