About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Employment Specialist to join our team at Waythrough. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with mental health problems to find and maintain employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and guidance to individuals to help them set and achieve their employment-focused goals.
- Establish and maintain positive links with community mental health teams and local employers.
- Develop and promote the service to ensure maximum impact.
- Maintain efficient admin systems to ensure timely referrals, assessments, and reviews.
Requirements
- Excellent understanding of mental health problems and their impact on employment.
- Strong motivational, presentation, and listening skills.
- Ability to travel in the local area and work outside of office hours as required.
